“There’s No Place Like Home” is a technological literacy narrative in Prezi form; rather than use a template, I built the entire presentation from scratch. I was new to the platform and thought that the challenge would better equip me to use the tool in the future. (Please note that Prezi has made changes to its embed code that has affected compatibility with my website platform. If the presentation below does not work you may click the title and view the presentation directly on Prezi.)
“Expectations Versus Reality: Confronting My Assumptions” is a video I shot and edited of a colleague’s “Introduction to Academic Writing” course wherein I learned I am not immune to cynicism, and that a blend of high- and low-tech in the classroom can be productive.
