I am a lecturer in the University Writing Program at the Rochester Institute of Technology and a doctoral candidate in English with a specialization in Rhetoric and Writing (expected to graduate in August 2019). Typically, my interests in writing across the curriculum, writing program administration, and feminist rhetorical practices inform my research, teaching, and service, though I will be the first to acknowledge that I tend to let my intellectual curiosity get the best of me and pursue new passions all the time. Indeed, I always aim to take an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to inquiry, pedagogy, and assessment. I identify as a teacher-researcher because I engage in research to serve my teaching: it is a means to understand how to innovate and invigorate my classroom practices.

Please take a look around if you’d like to get a better sense of who I am, academically and professionally. Thanks for visiting!
